LOST VILLA TONGLU
The guesthouse is located in Changqiutian Village, Zhongshan Township, Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, on a terraced mountain top at an altitude of about 500 meters, facing green mountains and a sea of clouds. It is isolated from the hustle and bustle, like a real fairyland. Opening the window reveals layers of mountains and swirling mist, and at night you can fall asleep under the starry sky over the terraces. It is about a 2-hour drive from downtown Hangzhou and a 1-hour drive from Tonglu High-Speed Railway Station, requiring a winding mountain road accompanied by bamboo sea and terraced fields along the way.
Da Le Zhi Ye · Tonglu consists of five villas renovated from local old houses, staggered along the mountain terrain. The architecture retains traditional elements such as rammed earth walls and gray tile roofs typical of western Zhejiang mountain residences, while incorporating modern minimalist design. The light-toned interior spaces paired with large floor-to-ceiling glass windows bring the mountain views, light, and mist indoors. Each steep and winding path connects the villas, hot springs, swimming pool, and viewing platform, resembling a naturally grown mountain village.
The hotel has a total of 25 rooms distributed across four villas, most equipped with oversized glass windows and terraces/courtyards. The rooms continue the light color scheme design, with solid wood furniture, cotton and linen materials, and floor heating systems creating a warm and comfortable living experience.
The restaurant "Ye You Shi" focuses on the philosophy of local ingredients: bamboo shoots picked early in the morning, wild fish from the stream, free-range native chickens... The chef creatively restores the original flavors of the mountains and fields. Breakfast offers freshly cooked porridge, handmade dim sum, and local specialty side dishes. In the afternoon, you can move to the "Ye You Ka" café, where hand-brewed coffee accompanies the mountain scenery.
