Riding a bicycle along the Guandu Bike Path is a favorite weekend escape for many Taipei residents. This route runs along the Tamsui River, connecting Bali and the red mangroves to Tamsui. The view is expansive and lush, offering breathtaking views of the mountains, river, and sunset.

The Guandu Bike Path's greatest charm lies in its rhythm. The first half of the route weaves through the Guandu Nature Reserve, where migratory birds nest and reeds sway in the breeze. The middle section passes beneath the Guandu Bridge, where the red arch contrasts beautifully with the emerald waters, creating a classic angle for many photography enthusiasts. As it approaches the Tamsui section, the gentle river breeze and the reflection of the setting sun make it seem as if the entire world has slowed down.
