You can enjoy the "free" Nordic home design exhibition even if you don't have time in Taipei

During the long weekend, I stepped into the "NOKE Zhongtai Le Shenghuo" in Dazhi for the first time and fell in love with this somewhat new yet not-so-new department store. Although it's a department store, there aren't many shops inside. However, if you're interested in niche designer brands or hipster snacks, this place is a must-see.

Even better, there's an exhibition space on the 3rd floor of NOKE, which features different exhibitions depending on the season. Currently, in conjunction with the "Aino, Elissa, and Alvar Aalto: Creation and Life" joint exhibition at the Zhongtai Art Museum, a satellite exhibition hall has been set up at NOKE, showcasing the lives and works of these three Finnish architects and furniture designers. While admission is free, the curators' meticulous attention to detail is evident in the exhibition design and explanations, and I highly recommend a visit.
