Take a retro trip 🌺｜Polley Road, a Western restaurant with more than 80 years of history

Bolero Restaurant is the oldest Western restaurant in Taiwan. It was founded in 1934 and its name was derived from a waltz by French composer Ravel, BOLERO. Famous for its "country curry rice" and "exquisite western set menu".

Duck Rice $380
This duck rice is a classic of Polly Road. The duck rice is mainly made by boiling the whole duck leg, which can be cut from the bone in one go. The meat is of good quality and is full of mushrooms and onions. White rice and kimchi are served at the bottom of the plate. The waiter introduced that this tableware has a very historical feel. First open the lid, there is duck legs on the top and rice on the bottom. The entire tableware is made of stainless steel.

It is very rich. In addition to lettuce and tomatoes, there are also abalone, aspic, ham, chicken wings, hot dogs, etc. It feels like a platter.

The abalone soup is made of milk and cream. The abalone part is replaced by abalone substitute, and it has the taste of cream seafood soup.

-Baked prawns🍤
The grilled prawns were pretty good, with a layer of grilled cheese on top, and the lettuce and asparagus on the side had a very old-fashioned flavor. The asparagus was pickled and had the flavor of old-fashioned asparagus juice

-Fillet steak🥩
The steak was fillet, medium rare, without blood. It felt like the beef had been processed before, with the aroma of spices. The steak was sprinkled with black pepper, and the texture of the meat was quite delicate. The steak came with cream cheese macaroni.
