48 Hours in Taipei! Visit Old Streets, Best Natural Wine Bar in Taipei and often-missed landmark!

Quick getaway over the weekend, 3 day 2 night stay but covered a great of places. Starting off with the often-missed historical landmark of Bei Men (North Gate), the moment you step out of Taoyuan Metro from the Airport!

Great base to start off the trip, head either direction from the gate to get to Ximending Commercial Area or Dihua Old Street where they are famous for dried provisions.

Wind down the evening at 台vlt, the best Natural Wine Bar in Taipei that originates from Singapore. Expect gourmet nibbles and snacks with Singaporean flair to pair with natural wines from artisan producers all over the world, all at a very reasonable price!

Begin the next day with a visit to Shen Keng Old Street and sample the famous stinky tofu and Taiwanese Sausage stuffed with Bamboo Shoots!

Head over to Taipei 101 for a shopping spree before heading back to Bei Men (North Gate) for the best Pork Knuckle Rice at Zheng Ji Pork Knuckle. Spend the evening at either Ning Xia or Nan Ji Chang Night Market or for the adventurous, head out to San He Night Market for a night of night market hopping!

Third and last day morning, walk around Dihua Old Street and chance upon traditional breakfast joints and food shops to savour authentic Taiwanese breakfast staples like vermicelli soup and salted congee.
