The Most Chill Resort in Chishang, Taitung: Naruwan International Resort & Villa

Chishang Township, located at the border of Hualien and Taitung, is not only famous for its Chishang rice and Chishang bento, but also for a renowned five-star resort, the Naruwan International Resort & Villa, where we will be staying during our Hualien-Taitung trip.

Naruwan is one of the early five-star resorts in Hualien and Taitung. Its scale and facilities reflect its past glory. Although it now has a sense of age, the warm hospitality remains unchanged. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, we were served welcome tea, which made us feel very warm.

The basic twin room is 38 square meters, and the best part is the outdoor balcony where you can leisurely sit and enjoy coffee while taking in the view. The room design is bright and comfortable, and the bed is very cozy. The weekday rate is about 4200 TWD, with an additional 500 TWD per person for a very sumptuous breakfast.

The resort has many facilities, including a large swimming pool area with lifeguards on duty, a diverse children's play area, and a table tennis room loved by both adults and children. On the second floor, there is a gift shop and a souvenir area, so shopping is not a problem.

If you get tired of staying in the resort, you can join outdoor guided tours or rent a bicycle to ride to the famous Takeshi Kaneshiro Tree for photos. In short, everything is very chill.
