Romance of the Coastline: The Whispering Tides of Lover's Cave

Lover's Cave, located on the western coast of Lanyu Island, is a natural rock arch sculpted by nature. As seawater flows through the cave's opening, it creates a picturesque scene. At sunset, I walked to the edge of the cave, where sunlight streamed through the archway, casting a golden glow over the sea, making the tranquil view feel almost surreal.

Legend has it that Lover's Cave witnessed the elopement of two lovers, but today it serves as a place for travelers to reflect. Sitting on the reef, I listened to the waves crashing against the rocky walls, as if narrating untold stories of the past. The romance of Lanyu is understated, yet it always finds a way to touch your heart unexpectedly.
