8-Day Kansai, Japan Tour | Osaka Namba | Kansai Airport Hotels | Rinku Town

On the eighth day of our eight-day trip to the Kansai region of Japan, we'll be taking an early flight back to Hong Kong, so day seven can be considered the final day.

In the morning, we'll have a simple, delicious breakfast at Cafe Break in the Namba underground shopping mall. Order a Cafe Latte (400 yen), and you can add a boiled egg and toast for 190 yen.

After breakfast, we'll walk to Namba Yasaka Shrine.

The blue sky is breathtaking.

I've heard a lot about Taiwan's "Three Star Green Onions," but I've never heard of "Namba Green Onions."

After taking photos of the ema, we'll leave Namba Yasaka Shrine.

After checking out of the hotel, we'll drag our luggage to HARBS in Namba Parks for lunch. The 2,400 yen lunch is a great value.

The pasta spread costs 1,800 yen, but for just 600 yen you can add a salad, half a cake of the day, and a selected drink. The salad portion is definitely not as generous as the meal.

The chicken and mushrooms in tomato cream sauce pasta had a generous portion of chicken and mushrooms, and the flavor was excellent.

The cake and drink I wanted were not available at lunch, but the spread of Tomatoes and Mozzarella Cheese Pasta (1,800 yen) was attractive and delicious.

The hot lemon tea that came with the meal was thoughtfully prepared with the lemon slices peeled.

The honey hojicha (900 yen) that I fell in love with last time was just as delicious.

The half chocolate cake that came with the meal was rich in chocolate flavor and fluffy—a truly excellent creation.

The waffles still had to go with the fruit mille-feuille (980 yen), which was very satisfying.

After lunch, I took the Nankai Electric Railway to the Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport to check in.

I rested briefly in my room and watched the planes fly by.

Then we headed to Rinku Port RINKU Premium Outlets, where we were treated to a stunning sunset.

RINKU Premium Outlets is a must-see before leaving Osaka.

The stunning sunset view from the seaside was a bonus.

I was hungry from shopping, so I had a lobster bun and continued shopping.
