This town was also used as a filming location for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. It's also fun to try to find the same streetscape as in the movie! ! ! ! ! ! If you go in the fall, the area is covered in autumn leaves and is said to be very beautiful. It seems to be a popular fall spot and many people visit. There is also a roadside station nearby, where you can buy a few souvenirs.
I definitely recommend visiting it when you go to Hiroshima.
