The Lala Mountain Giant Tree Group is located at the junction of Taoyuan Fuxing District and New Taipei Wulai District. The altitude of the entire area ranges from 1,500 meters to 2,130 meters. There are 24 giant trees in total, and the age of the trees ranges from 440 to 2,800 years. It is the same as Alishan. The famous giant tree reserve in Shenmu District.

There is a limit on the number of people entering, and the crowds will be controlled when there are large crowds. One car goes out and one car enters. Drive directly to the parking lot. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Lala Mountain Ecological Education Center (Lala Mountain National Forest Recreation Area Visitor Center). After renovation, a cafe has been established in the visitor center, offering delicious light meals and coffee drinks, as well as a first-row seating area where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views!

After paying at the toll station, you will be given a route map of the Lala Mountain Giant Tree Area. After entering the trail and walking along the road, you will see the No. 1 sacred tree. It is recommended to go to the No. 4 sacred tree and then go in the direction of the 22 sacred tree, and then count down the route back. No. 5 Sacred Tree Route, because there are stairs from No. 5 Sacred Tree to No. 9 Sacred Tree, so walking down the stairs from No. 9🔜5 will not be so tiring!

The trails along the way are pretty easy to walk, and people who don’t usually do mountain climbing can easily finish it. There are also restrooms marked on the route map, which is very convenient! The round trip journey can be completed in about 2 hours!
