The fairy-tale-like Cathedral of the Assumption

After resting in the hotel for a while, it was almost evening, so I went to the nearest attraction, the Cathedral of the Assumption. The church does not require tickets and is free to visit. This church is as dreamy and beautiful as a castle in a fairy tale, which is its most attractive feature.

In the courtyard, there was a Soviet aunt selling cakes. The prices are quite reasonable, 8,000 som per piece of dried apricot cake, 10,000 som per piece of chocolate cake, and 4,000 per bottle of mineral water. She said she made them all herself, and I tasted them and they were all made with real ingredients. If you get closer, you can see that this lady dyed her eyelashes blue. Many people come here to pray and buy her cakes.
