Tatev Monastery, Armenia 🏞️⛪ — perched dramatically on the edge of a deep gorge, Tatev is one of the most breathtaking monasteries in the Caucasus. Built in the 9th century, it once served as a major spiritual and educational center. Today, it feels like something out of a fantasy movie — stone walls rising above rolling green mountains and endless sky.

To reach it, many travelers take the “Wings of Tatev” — the world’s longest reversible cable car 🚡, gliding over the Vorotan Gorge for 12 minutes of pure awe. Monks still live here, and the silence around the monastery gives the whole place a mystical energy.
