When you come to Tengchong, you must experience the hot springs.

Tengchong, a land of geothermal wonders, is located at the southern end of the Hengduan Mountains, on the relatively open western edge of the southern section of the Gaoligong Mountains. It is a rare and typical volcanic and geothermal coexistence zone in the world. Tengchong is rich in geothermal resources and is one of the three major geothermal areas in China. With high humidity, high pressure, and abundant steam, there are many hot springs within its borders. The chemical types of Tengchong hot spring water mainly include sodium bicarbonate, calcium bicarbonate, and sodium carbonate bicarbonate.

This is my second time in Tengchong. This time, I revisited Heshun Ancient Town and the Volcanic Geothermal National Geological Park. On my first visit, I also toured the Tengchong Rehai Scenic Area, including the Rehai Big Boiling Pot. Of course, when in Tengchong, you must soak in the hot springs several times. This time, I went to the Angsana Tengchong Hot Spring Village, located in the Mayugu Hot Spring Resort. There are many outdoor hot spring pools, the natural environment is excellent, and everything is very clean. As the saying goes, "Bathing in the steaming hot springs, the rising heat waves relax the body and mind." On my first trip to Tengchong, I also visited the Dongshan Hot Spring Village, which is also an outdoor forest hot spring with excellent water quality and great value. Both were wonderful experiences. I will definitely come back to Tengchong again if I have the chance.
