Hokkaido accommodation - Kussharo Prince Hotel with stunning lake and mountain views next to Lake Kussharo

Stayed one night on October 19, 2024

After visiting Lake Mashu, we stayed at the Kussharo Prince Hotel for one night.
The hotel is located in Teshikaga Town.
The road to the hotel was unlit.
Since we left Lake Mashu late that day, I briefly suspected I'd taken the wrong road.
But don't worry, the hotel is located on the side of the road in the forest.
There are no convenience stores or shops nearby, so we had to find our meals in the city.
It's right next to Lake Kussharo.
After breakfast, we walked to a small path next to the hotel that leads to Lake Kussharo.
The tranquility of the lake and the rustling of maple leaves The rubbing of the floorboards creates a melody of nature's natural beauty!

I really love the tranquility and resort atmosphere of this hotel; it's a great value!

I booked a double room on Trip.com for a night with breakfast for only NT$4,200. The room was spacious, with room for two 29-inch suitcases.

It had a simple living room and a sofa.

The beds were also very comfortable; they were twin beds with just the right amount of firmness.

The toilet and shower had separate wet and dry areas.

It was really comfortable.

Parking is free, but the parking lot for small cars is a two-minute walk and is open-air. The hotel also provides free umbrellas for rainy days.

Since there are no shops nearby, there's a small shop on the basement floor selling instant noodles, snacks, drinks, and a variety of souvenirs. There's also a coin-operated washing machine.

There's also a public bathhouse, with separate men's and women's baths.

The hot springs are very comfortable! 👍
Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant on the first floor. The buffet is excellent, using local Hokkaido ingredients and is unique. The restaurant has high ceilings and a beautiful garden.

Overall, I'm very satisfied and give it 5 stars!
