[Niigata] A fantastical tunnel that's hugely popular on social media!

📍Kiyotsukyo Gorge Tunnel, NiigataKiyotsukyo Gorge is known as one of Japan's three major canyons along with Kurobe Gorge and Osugidani. The huge cliffs that rise up on either side of the river create a V-shaped canyon that is the pride of Japan, and it has been designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument! The 750-meter-long pedestrian-only tunnel, Kiyotsukyo Gorge Tunnel, has three lookout points along the way, and a panorama station at the end where you can enjoy the beauty of the gorge. *The tunnel is well paved, so wheelchairs and strollers are also OK! You can also rent wheelchairs and strollers at the management office! It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the "Panorama Station" at the very back 🚶♀️ From the first observation point, you can get a close-up look at the columnar jointed rock surface. The second observation point is a stylish space with a striped pattern 😎
The dome-shaped object in the middle is actually a toilet 🤣
There are two private rooms, one on each side, both unisex.
The third observation point had spherical mirrors on the walls, creating a fantastic atmosphere!
And the final point, the "Panorama Station," which was our goal, was a fantastic space with a "water basin mirror" that reflected the scenery of Kiyotsu Gorge ♡
The water from the stream is drawn into the water mirror, and you can walk to the end!! The water is shallow at the edge, so you can go there even with your shoes on 👞

You can enjoy different views depending on the season, such as fresh greenery in early May, autumn leaves in late October to early November, and snowy scenery in late December to early April 💛
