[Lots of squirrels?! A shrine filled with healing and cuteness]

When you visit Ogura Hachiman Shrine in Tokushima City,
not only are there seasonal decorations and photo spots set up in various places in the shrine grounds,
but there are also squirrel figurines here and there!

Apparently, when the temizuya (water purification fountain) was renovated, a squirrel motif was used for the faucet,
and worshippers started bringing them,
and cute squirrels can be seen peeking out from inside the lanterns and between the fortune slips.

Also, the design of the flower temizuya changes depending on the season, so you can make new discoveries every time you visit, which is one of the attractions!
