This is Rikugien Garden, located in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.
It is said to be one of the two great gardens of Edo, along with Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, which is also located in Bunkyo Ward!
The garden is closed from December 29th to January 1st.
Free admission is available on Tokyo Citizens' Day and Greenery Day.
According to the explanation,
Rikugien Garden is a stroll-style garden with a pond and a hill that was built in 1695 (Genroku 8) over a period of seven years.
The garden features a meeting hall (Shinsen-tei) and a teahouse (Senshuntei).
Different flowers and plants change depending on the season, and events are also held.
This time, I only enjoyed a part of the garden, but I was able to feel the atmosphere of the garden, including the large and magnificent weeping cherry tree, the waterfall teahouse, and the Chidoribashi bridge.
At the entrance to the garden, you can borrow umbrellas for free, so you can enjoy taking commemorative photos.
