Tokyo National Showa Memorial Park

The recommended classic flower viewing spots in Tokyo are, of course, the National Showa Memorial Park. The National Showa Memorial Park is vast in area, about 40 times the size of Tokyo Dome. The natural landscape in the park changes with the seasons, and the four seasons are completely different. Cherry blossoms are also one of the must-see sights in the park

Starting from March, after the Kanhizakura blooms first, there are also about 31 varieties of Somei-Yoshino cherry blossoms that will bloom next. About 1,500 cherry blossoms can be enjoyed. Among them, Somei-Yoshino cherry blossoms are concentrated in Sakura Garden, and many local people I also like to have a picnic here with my family and friends while admiring the blooming cherry blossoms. Not only that, you can also see the beautiful scenery of pink cherry blossoms and yellow rapeseed flowers contrasting with each other.

Although it is a bit far from the center of Tokyo, the cherry blossoms here are so beautiful that it is worth a visit in person.
