Ukima Park

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, the cherry blossom season had passed, but I went there for the first time to see the windmill by the pond and to see tulips.

In front of Ukimafunato Station on the JR Salkyo Line, the Arakawa riverbed is just to the north, perfect for an early morning walk or running course. There is Komeda Coffee next to the entrance, and you can enjoy a Nagoya-style breaktast on weekends.

There are many people fishing in the park where you can go around the pond. The azaleas were also quite a sight to see. I was told that the primrose field was open to the public for a limited time (April 8th to April 17th), but unfortunately I wasn't able to see it as it seemed to be unlocked at 10am.
