Gotokuji is located in Setagaya which is one of the quiet neighborhoods in Tokyo. Gotokuji temple is a Buddhist temple and well known for the cat lovers.
Maneki Neko is a famous symbol in Japanese culture. It is a white cat with red details and one of it paws raised. The name translate to "beckoning cat", as the cat is believed to beckon good luck and fortune. When the cat raised its right paws, it will bring fortune and money, where as if the left paw is raised, it will attract more customers.
The address is 2 Chome-24-7 Gotokuji, Setagaya City, Tokyo 154-0021, Japan. Opening hours is from 6am to 5pm.
