Tokyo Skytree is not only a great family day out, but also the best place to see panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline. There are two observation decks. Although the highest level can be tempting with possible views of Fuji on clear days, we found the lower level to have the better views of the city.

Just a stones throw away from the historical Asakusa, the more urban Skytree area has a whole host of restaurants, a shopping mall and even an aquarium. Look out for the frequent food festivals in the plaza outside of the entrance, they are always worth a taste!
