When visiting Tokyo, how could you miss Tokyo Tower? This time, I took photos at the location right by the 7-11, where after walking out, you can see Tokyo Tower perfectly. Oh wow 😎🗼
Tokyo Tower, standing 333 meters tall and built in 1958, is a symbol of Tokyo’s post-war recovery. When it was newly completed, it was the tallest building in the world, taller than the Eiffel Tower. The construction involved about 220,000 workers and was completed in just one and a half years, with most of the work done by hand. Absolutely amazing!!!
You can see the views of Tokyo and the surrounding scenery. On clear days, you can even see Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji. For the brave, you can look down 150 meters through the glass floor called the "Sky Walk Window," located on the first floor of the main observation deck 🗻🗼
Not far from there is “Chiba Park,” which not only has a vast lawn but also the “Chiba Toshogu Shrine” with an ancient giant ginkgo tree standing tall, planted by Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu. Nearby are “Tokyo Chiba Park” and “Minato Ward Chiba Park,” well known as green parks in the city center.
