Steam rises from the spring, and the traveler's heart gradually warms: A record of Heiwajima Onsen

Staying at the Dormy Inn Ikebukuro Natural Hot Spring Hotel in Tokyo, with its calm and simple Japanese design, the natural hot spring is its biggest highlight. Today, I chose the slightly farther Heiwajima Onsen as my destination, taking a train to the seaside, passing by Tokyo Bay with its expansive views. Heiwajima Onsen offers complete facilities, with open-air baths and a hot stone room that thoroughly relax the body and mind. While soaking, I watched the shadows of trees swaying in the sea breeze, as if time stood still. Returning to Ikebukuro in the evening, I soaked in the hot spring once more, letting the travel fatigue dissipate with the steam. This day had no rushing to sightseeing spots, yet it brought true healing to both body and soul.
