This park is built on a hillside along the Tamagawa River, covering about 68,000 square meters with a length of approximately 750 meters. On clear days, you can see Mount Tanzawa and Mount Fuji. The park features natural forest trails, an observation plaza, a hydrangea garden, an aquatic plant garden transformed from the original Denenchofu water purification plant sedimentation basin site, and a seasonal wild grass garden. In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms, and in early summer, hydrangeas. The park also has a keyhole-shaped ancient tomb from the Tamagawa basin. On weekends and holidays, it attracts many visitors for leisure, walking, and flower viewing.

From early to mid-June, about 7 varieties and 4,000 hydrangea bushes bloom in the park. Especially on the slope near Tamagawa Station and along both sides of the stairs, various hydrangeas are planted. Tamagawadai Park is one of Tokyo’s most famous spots for hydrangea viewing.
