[Where to Start Viewing Western Paintings? — The National Museum of Western Art]
A unique exhibition that lets you enjoy 600 years of Western paintings from the Renaissance to Impressionism from the perspective of "where to focus your attention." A total of 88 works are paired and displayed by 36 themes, featuring 49 pieces from the San Diego Museum of Art (all shown in Japan for the first time) and 39 from the National Museum of Western Art, creating a dialogue through the exhibition layout.
