Senso-ji Temple, another important landmark in Tokyo, Japan, is located on Asakusa Street. It's the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo, built in 628 AD. Visitors from all over the world must visit this place.
The temple's main highlight is its entrance gate, which features a giant red lantern. The Nakamise shopping street in front of the temple is lined with famous souvenir and dessert shops, making it a popular destination for tourists.
Inside the temple grounds, there's a shrine to the Goddess of Mercy (Kannon), who often comes to pray for health, wealth, and love. The five-story pagoda is also a stunning highlight.
The area surrounding the temple is also a commercial district lined with restaurants and shops, offering shopping opportunities. There's also a great view of the Tokyo Skytree, making it a delightful stroll. 😆
📍Location: Get off at Asakusa Station and walk for 3-5 minutes.
