American Express Lounge at Haneda Airport

I finally got to visit the American Express lounge, which just opened on July 16th this year!

After clearing customs, walk to the left until you're almost at the bottom, then turn left again. Take the escalator; there are two lounges on the fourth floor: one for Japan Airlines and one for American Express.

The American Express lounge has a great location at Haneda Airport, and the food there is absolutely delicious.

I happened to be between breakfast and lunch (during the meal change), so I got to try both. For breakfast,

they had delicious handmade rice balls 🍙, with three options: beef, mentaiko (spicy roe), and shrimp.

Curry 🍛 is a standard item (in the central area).

Omelettes, poached eggs, and scrambled eggs are all made to order. Absolutely delicious!

The alcohol selection is amazing, with a whole wall of drinks (so you don't have to worry about running out).

There are also plenty of non-alcoholic cocktails for those who don't like alcohol or for kids.

What's impressive is that

they have ramen and Wagyu beef burgers for lunch. The ramen comes in two flavors: tonkotsu and soy sauce – absolutely delicious! 😋

What surprised me most was

they have water

but not just any water

it's Kyoto water

from a 1200-year-old spring

called
Kyono-sui

a very unique flavor – definitely try it if you have the chance!
