Take a walk around Asakusa!

#TokyoTravel

Asakusa is one of the most traditional Tokyo neighborhoods. Stepping out of the station feels like you've been transported back in time to the Edo period. The streets are lined with traditional Japanese sweets shops, souvenir shops featuring beckoning cats, and kimonos everywhere. 🏮

🛕 Sensoji Temple
We've arrived at Tokyo's oldest temple, a popular place for making wishes! Japanese people shake "Omikuji" fortune sticks and tie them up if they receive a bad fortune, a sign of good luck. ✨

⛩ For those who believe in superstition, don't forget to wash your hands before entering.
In the water plaza in front of the temple, there are traditional water dippers for washing your hands and rinsing your mouth. If you want to complete your superstition, you must!

After exploring Asakusa, don't rush back. Just a short walk across the Sumida River Bridge will give you a full view of the Tokyo Skytree!
