Within the grounds, the Museum of the Imperial Collections (Sannomaru Shozokan) displays a portion of the Imperial Family's art and artifacts. Admission is also free. While the collection may vary, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the cultural and artistic tastes of Japan’s royalty over the centuries. It provides a nice indoor break during your walk and adds a layer of cultural enrichment to the historical and natural exploration of the gardens.
