Exclusive for J people|Off-season Tonglu trip, super comfortable avoiding the crowds

J people's precise tips to avoid pitfalls: avoid summer vacation and weekends, and start a slow-paced Tonglu trip with your elderly mother~

📅Day 1️⃣
🚄 Depart from Shanghai, arrive smoothly at 10:30
🏨 Check in at Hilton Hampton, off-season prices are amazing! Unexpectedly upgraded to a river view room
Ordered the popular Qiang Ge scallion pancake for takeout, crispy and delicious, after eating and resting for a while, set off~

🌟First stop: Shishe Village (30 minutes by taxi)
Surprisingly few people! Only a handful by the creek, the sky is completely clear, didn’t even see tourists playing in the water. The "Huang Maoxian" afternoon tea shop I wanted to visit was closed, a small regret but it didn’t affect the mood~
Strolled around the village, breathed fresh air, no crowds or cramped feeling, very free and pleasant.
Also checked in at Maling Ancient Trail, no one in sight before or after, my elderly mother was shy and didn’t dare to go deep, so we just took a short walk and ended it.

🌟Second stop: Jiangnan Longmen Bay (11 km from Shishe Village)
Off-season experience is top-notch! High chance to have the bamboo raft all to yourself (in peak season, it’s a 12-person shared raft), the boat ride is also very quiet, leisurely enjoying the scenery is super comfortable.

❌Pitfall reminder: Don’t rush for the night tour of Fuchun River! By 8:00 PM, the riverside lights are not on, completely different from the night view in the guides, only sporadic lights near Tongjun Mountain, the rest of the route is pitch dark~

🌟🌟🌟Summary:
Off-season Tonglu has fewer activities, but it’s very friendly for those who don’t like crowds! The mountains and waters are still beautiful, fewer people and cleaner scenery, every casual photo is a masterpiece📷
