Hiking the mount Bromo for sunrise is amongst the most popular activities in Java. It requires taking a tour to sort out your transport and make it easier. Mount Bromo is amongst the most spectacular volcanoes in the world. It happens to be surrounded by several other mountains and volcanoes. So that makes for an even more picturesque experience.

Wherever you are staying, there will be many options when it comes to taking the sunrise tour. On my recent trip I remember paying about 500k idr which included a pick up from the hotel, jeep drive to Mount Bromo, watching the sunrise, the small hike up the volcano and then drop off at the hotel.
