Hokuriku·Toyama-Himi two-day and one-night tour

With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Kanazawa to Tsuruga, the Kansai-Kanto JR + Shinkansen tourist route can be realized. This time we started from Kyoto, took the JR Thunderbird Express to Tsuruga (all trains have reserved seats), and then transferred to the #Hokuriku Shinkansen to #Toyama. After arriving at the station, since it is the end of November, I went to #Fuyancanalhuanshuipark before it gets dark. There is a Starbucks in the park, which is known as the most beautiful in the world. You can stop by along the Tianmen Bridge. Visit #Toyama県 Museum of Art. It happened to be dark when we went back, and the lights in Huanshui Park were also on. After checking in at the hotel, we went directly to Toyama Station for dinner. There are different restaurants and souvenirs there, so you can simply browse around.

The next morning, take the #あいの风とやま鉄道爱之风Toyama Railway, transfer to JR via Takaoka and go to Amamere Station. Both sections of the railway are included in the #Hokuriku Arch Railway Pass (the staff will ask you Going to that destination only involves changing to the JR line at Takaoka, so it seems like you have to pay if you only go to Takaoka). You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Alps in the #Central Mountains National Park in #雨雨雨 coast. Then take a bus to #himi for a stroll, go to #himinae park to admire the coast of Toyama Bay, and then go to the #ひみkanbi market next to it to enjoy the Himi seafood produced in Toyama Bay. Finally, walk to Himi Station and take the JR back to Takaoka, then transfer to JR to Shin-Takaoka and take the Shinkansen to the next destination: Nagano.

This time I tried the Hokuriku Shinkansen for the first time. I gave up the popular tourist destination Kanazawa and chose Toyama. I found that Toyama also has its own characteristics. There is also the #Toyama Cityガラス Museum (also a library) nearby which is worth a visit. I will try it next time. Spend more time exploring this comfortable city and try out a local glass course.
