Fantastic dance dancing in the wind🎐The world of "Owara Kaze no Bon" encountered in the town of Yatsuo

Yatsuo, located in the mountains in the southwest of Toyama City, is a charming town where townspeople culture continues to live on since the Edo period. The "Owara Kaze no Bon" festival, held every year from September 1st to 3rd, is a fantastic festival where the townspeople dance with the melancholy sound of the kokyu and elegant dances in the night streets lit by lanterns✨
When you actually visit, the streetscape of Suwamachi Hondori, lined with white walls and lattice doors, seems as if time has stopped. The quiet footsteps of the dancers overlap with the sound of the wind, and your heart is gradually soothed. Even outside the festival period, you can enjoy traditional culture at "Tsukimi no Owara" and the Hikiyama Exhibition Hall🎐
To access, take the JR Takayama Main Line from JR Toyama Station for about 25 minutes and get off at "Etchu Yatsuo Station". It is about an 8-minute drive from the station to the townscape. If you drive, it's about 40 minutes from Toyama IC 🚗
Spend a fantastic evening with your partner, or immerse yourself in the quiet emotion alone. There are plenty of free walks around the town, making it perfect for an absolutely free trip 🎉
For your next trip, head to the story of Yao, woven by wind and dance. Be sure to spend a memorable time 😊
