I prefer this niche African island to the Maldives.

Mauritius is loved by so many!
It's a place I can't forget even after multiple trips to the Maldives.
🏨 Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius
Staying at the Shangri-La, the environment, location, and service were all excellent.
The resort is so charming, you won't get bored even after staying for a few days.
The breakfast and dining options were all delicious.

🐬 Activities:
🔥 Dolphin watching is super fun, and you can swim with them! A large group of dolphins is so cute!!
🔥 There's a zoo, and riding an ATV in the jungle feels so free! Playing with zebras and ostriches is so much fun.

🍕 Food:
Mauritius' brown sugar and black tea are incredibly good. Be sure to bring some back, or you'll regret it. The other food wasn't memorable; the instant noodles I brought were tastier.

☁️ Scenery:
The sea in Mauritius has 100 colors. Île aux Cerfs is beyond words; you have to experience it yourself. The sunrises and sunsets are both beautiful.

If you love islands, you must experience the charm of Mauritius.
