Here is a plan for visiting the Kushiro Marsh in autumn 💁♀️
The plan was to leave Tokyo Haneda in the morning, visit Kushiro, and then head to Shiretoko 🚗
7:40 Departure from Haneda
9:20 Arrival in Kushiro
11:00 Kushiro Marsh Canoeing Experience
The temperature was just right for canoeing in September! On this day, we were able to see Ezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and even red-crowned cranes from afar, which was very satisfying 🦅
13:30 Washo Market
We were hungry after paddling the canoe, so we enjoyed a bowl of rice topped with rice at Washo Market. You buy rice and top it with your favorite ingredients 🍣It's also attractive that you can adjust the amount depending on how hungry you are at the time!
15:00 Hokuto Observatory Park (Satellite Observatory)
We went to the observation deck to see the entire marsh. It felt great to walk through the forest. Unlike canoeing, we could see the vastness of the marsh with our own eyes, so it was a different way to enjoy it 🌳
16:15 Depart for Shiretoko 🚗
It takes about 3 hours, lol, but it's totally possible to enjoy Kushiro and then go to Shiretoko!
I've introduced you to the day I spent in Kushiro.
There seem to be a lot of delicious looking restaurants, so I'd like to visit again and take my time ☺️
