Mon Ngon Tay Bac - Sapa, Vietnam 🇻🇳
This hotpot restaurant in Sapa wasn't actually a place I planned to visit. I was originally going to a well-known restaurant with good reviews, but when I told the Grab driver, he recommended this place instead. I believed him because he was a local. I don't know if he was lying, but I believed him. 😂
But when I tried it, I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a mixed set with pork, chicken, beef, and seafood.
🦞🐠🥩, along with vegetables and a small basket of rice vermicelli. This place really emphasizes rice vermicelli. The tomato soup is a bit sweet and sour. The dipping sauce isn't bad, it has a seafood flavor, but it's not sour, just a bit spicy, with a peanut sauce.
Another recommended dish is the bamboo-roasted pork with herbs, served with fried purple sticky rice. The flavor wasn't bad, a fun meal while waiting for the hotpot. The other dishes were also delicious. I trust the Grab driver. 😂
The staff here speak English, and the service was excellent. They always give good recommendations.
And in the evenings, there's live music! 🙌🏻 The restaurant is bustling with tourists in the evenings.
