Day 2845 of my world trip | I have traveled to 104 countries around the world

Many friends ask me why I travel around the world 🚌🚒🚞🛩️
To be honest, my reason is quite ordinary—it was because of a breakup 💔
After ending a nearly five-year relationship, I couldn’t handle the blow
I resolutely decided to give up a high-paying and stable job to travel and clear my mind

At that time, I just wanted to clear my mind,
What I thought was: I want to be happy 😁 I want to be happy 😁 I want to be happy 😁
I never thought about traveling around the world
Back then, I just wanted to use travel to distract myself and numb the pain
Although it didn’t work immediately, there’s no denying that travel changed me
By the third year of traveling, I completely got over the shadow of the breakup

But, travel is addictive
Once you start on this path, you simply can’t stop
So after overcoming the breakup, I set a new goal for myself:
To visit 100 countries before turning 30 😎
However, I don’t like ticking off places on a checklist
Whenever I go somewhere, I stay for a long time
To discover, to feel, to experience the local customs and culture
It took me a full 6 years to achieve this goal, finally reaching my 100th country on my world trip in the summer of 2023—Moldova 🇲🇩

I remember when I told someone my goal, she said something really discouraging:
“Why set that goal? Are you trying to die?”
On the road, you’ll realize you should never explain yourself to people like that
Different values don’t need to be forced to blend,
Someone without any goals isn’t worth your argument
Setting this goal was just to motivate myself to cherish and enjoy every day of travel, to look forward to the long years ahead
It’s encouragement, a direction, a spiritual pillar

Now travel is a normal part of life
And because of travel, I found the place where I want to live and settle long-term—Spain 🇪🇸. To achieve this new goal,
At almost 30, I returned to Spain to pursue a PhD
Though the process is tough, I enjoy it
None of our lives are fixed; anyone can take control and write their own life story. If you don’t try,
You’ll never know the infinite possibilities of your life

After traveling so many years, where does the money come from? How do I live?
What’s the biggest difficulty? Have I ever encountered danger?
