Toontown feels like you've stepped into a storybook or a cartoon.
The exterior of the buildings is all exaggeratedly curved, so it's great for taking background photos.
There are almost no rides, but instead, there are many spaces to look around inside, such as Goofy's House, Minnie's House, and Donald's Boat.
There's almost nothing to actually ride or move, so for adults, it's more about 'looking around' than experiencing.
At Mickey's House, you can wait in line to take pictures with real characters, but the wait can be long.
It's a great place for kids to run around and have fun, and for adults to take pictures and rest.
Since the buildings and surrounding objects are all cartoon-style,
it feels more like a theme space that's faithful to the 'toon character worldview' than a 'Disney sensibility'.
Overall, it's a good area to take pictures and look around lightly rather than just walking around quietly. 📸🧸
