Wadi Rum – Valley of the Moon

I woke up in a Bedouin tent, the first light filtering through the curtains. It was so quiet I could hear the gentle breeze. When I stepped outside, I saw camels walking against the sunrise. Bedouins were boiling tea, and the aroma wafted through the desert. It was a simple but charming morning.

As the sun rose, we rode a jeep through the desert, leaving long trails on the orange sand. We passed towering sandstone mountains. It felt like I was in another world. The evening sky was full of stars, and I could see the Milky Way clearly, something I couldn't see in the city.

Wadi Rum is known as the "Valley of the Moon," not only for its stunning scenery but also for its significant history. Wadi Rum was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 and has served as the setting for movies like The Martian and Star Wars. It was also the site where T.E. Lawrence fought during the Arab Revolution.
