Wakayama Prefecture, Nyutohime Shrine

This is a shrine I visited while sightseeing in Wakayama Prefecture.

I drove up the mountain road to this shrine in the mountains,
and it seems to be a World Heritage Site.

There are 108 shrines across Japan that worship Nyutsuhime-no-Okami,
and if you include the sub-shrines, there are more than 180,
and this Nyutsuhime Shrine is the head shrine.

The red arch bridge stands out.
