D.C. Diaries: Chill Walks & Sweet Treats

My trip to Washington D.C. was a perfect blend of culture, history, and cozy town vibes.

I started at the iconic Lincoln Memorial, where people were out walking, exercising, and simply enjoying the open space. The atmosphere was calm yet full of life — a beautiful spot to reflect or just take in the views.

Next, I visited the Smithsonian Museum, which absolutely lived up to the hype. So much to explore, and it’s free! A must if you’re into history, art, or science.

Walking past the United States Department of the Treasury, I couldn’t help but feel surrounded by power and legacy — it’s a striking building in the heart of the city.

But the highlight for me was Georgetown. It’s such a charming neighborhood! From its cobblestone streets to stylish boutiques and riverside walks, I completely fell in love. Honestly, I could see myself living there forever. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and smile.

And of course, I couldn’t leave without trying a famous cupcake — fluffy, sweet, and worth every calorie!
