Fangzi Town,
located in Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province,
"Fangzi" is the German transliteration of the place name "Fangzi".
It is mainly a complex of German and Japanese-style buildings, built between 1898 and 1914 during the German-Japanese colonial period.
There are 103 German-style buildings, and 63 Japanese-style buildings.

Humanities and History:

In 1898, in order to mine and transport coal,
Germany built the Jiaoji Railway,
and established Fangzi Railway Station,
hospital, coal mine, power plant,
radio plant, garment factory, etc.
The town has been prosperous since then,
and is known as:
"Three roads in the north and south,
and ten miles of foreign land in the east and west".
