Enjoy the romance of the lanterns.
The Wuhan Garden Expo Park Lantern Festival is officially open today!
We were among the first to visit (there were so many people today!)
This is the largest lantern festival in Wuhan, with the most lanterns‼️
There are nearly 70 large themed lantern displays,
and a 2,800-meter-long dazzling tour route throughout the park.
We walked around and took photos,
and it took us more than 2 hours to see everything.

🔴 9th Wuhan Garden Expo Park Lantern Festival and Hankouli Temple Fair
🏮 Lantern Festival Dates: January 22, 2025 (23rd day of the 12th lunar month) to March 9
Recommended Lantern Festival Route:
Hankouli ➡️ East Gate ➡️ Hangzhou Garden ➡️ Yangtze River Civilization Museum ➡️ Taiyuan Garden ➡️ South Square ➡️ Zhongleyuan (iron flower performance)
🎫 Tickets:
✅ Single Entry Ticket: CNY 60 per person per entry.
✅ Annual Pass: Wuhan Garden Expo Park Annual Pass CNY 99, valid for 2 entries per day.
✅ Partner Annual Pass: Great Wuhan Annual Pass, Tenglv e-Card Annual Pass, and Hubei Tourism Card holders can enter for free before 4:00 pm, and must pay an additional CNY 30 per person after 4:00 pm.
🗺️ Transportation:
🚇 Subway: Line 7, Garden Expo Park Station, Exit B
🚗 Self-driving: Enter through the East Gate, navigate to "Hankouli Underground Parking Lot," CNY 3 per hour.
⚠️ Tips:
1️⃣ The lantern festival is very crowded, so you will have to walk. Although you can rent a bike 🚲, it is difficult to ride;
2️⃣ Be sure to wear comfortable sneakers 👟, as you will be walking for a long time. It can get cold at night, so dress warmly;
3️⃣ If you are bringing children, be sure to bring a stroller, as the route is stroller-friendly;
4️⃣ If you are bringing children, be sure to keep an eye on them and do not let them out of your sight‼️
5️⃣ There are convenience stores along the way, and many food stalls in the South Square, so you don't have to worry about food and drink;
6️⃣ After 4:00 pm, you can only enter through the East Gate and South Gate 1, both of which have parking lots 🅿️.
7️⃣ During the day, you can visit the gardens, visit the [Natural History Museum], take your children to the [Garden Expo Park Forest Tribe], and at night, you can visit the lantern festival and Hankouli Temple Fair. A full day of fun from morning to night‼️
