Located in Ganlu Mountain Cultural and Creative City in Wuhan's Huangpi District, the Qianli Zou Danqi Ganlu Mountain Homestay has quietly opened as a boutique homestay with mountains and rivers as its backdrop and culture as its soul.
The homestay's architecture is based on the concept of "integration of mountains and rivers," cleverly combining modern minimalist lines with Hubei architectural elements. The staggered blocks of gray tiles and white walls seem to grow naturally from Ganlu Mountain, and the extra-large floor-to-ceiling glass windows bring the seasonal mountain scenery indoors.
The suite you will stay in is equipped with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and the tatami tea table faces the misty Ganlu Mountain. It has its own private courtyard surrounded by bamboo forests, and a bluestone path connects to the outdoor hot tub. The rooms are equipped with standard floor heating and smart home systems. The bath products are from a niche naturalistic brand, and the bathrobes are decorated with Yangxin cloth stickers, a Hubei intangible cultural heritage craft.
The restaurant features the concept of fresh seasonal ingredients from Hubei: breakfast includes a local combination of hot dry noodles with freshly ground soy milk, as well as Western-style Eggs Benedict. For lunch and dinner, we recommend the Huangpi Three Delicacies (fish balls, meat balls, and meat cakes) innovative platter, and the wild vegetable tofu is delivered daily by nearby farmers.
The homestay's facilities are quite characteristic of Hubei, and the cultural and creative space regularly hosts intangible cultural heritage workshops such as Chu embroidery and wood carving. The temperature-controlled infinity pool and mountain-view gym are open 24 hours a day. The family area has an interactive game installation with the theme of "Mulan Joining the Army."
The homestay is located in the core area of Ganlu Mountain Cultural and Creative City, within walking distance of: Snow World (the largest indoor ski resort in Central China), the Song Dynasty Water Town commercial street (restoring the "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" scene), and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum (live displays of Huangpi clay sculptures, Han embroidery, etc.).
