I just went to Wuhan's "Little New Zealand" today, and I want to say...

πŸš— Transportation Guide
Self-driving
Navigate to the South Gate of Lingshan Ecological and Cultural Tourism Area. The parking fee is approx. CNY 10/day. Parking spaces are limited during holidays, so arrive early!
It takes approx. 1 hour to drive from Wuhan city center. It is recommended to avoid the morning and evening rush hours.
Public transportation
Take Metro Line 7 to Qinglongshan Metro Town Station Exit C, then transfer to bus J209 to reach the scenic area directly (approx. 30 mins).
Shuttle buses are added during holidays such as May Day. You can take a bus from Jinxiu Avenue or Evergrande Tourist City.
🎫 Tickets and Opening Hours
Tickets: CNY 35/person (half price for students), sightseeing bus CNY 15/person (round trip, stops when you wave).
πŸ“Έ Must-see Attractions
Mine Lake
A blue lake transformed from a mine pit. The lake water is blue-green due to minerals. The lawn by the lake is suitable for camping and picnics.
Tips: Take photos in the afternoon when the sun is soft. You can rent a canopy (CNY 128–188/set).
Alpine Meadow
More than 200 acres of meadow. At sunset, it looks like a New Zealand pasture. It is suitable for lying down to watch the clouds and taking drone aerial photos.
Artificial Waterfall
The 50m-high waterfall is majestic. Pay attention to the opening hours, or you will have to wait for the next time!
Mine Pit Garden and Flower Sea
Rapeseed flowers in spring, red leaves in fall, and different flower seas in different seasons. The industrial style collision between the mine pit and the flower sea is super eye-catching.
Lonely Tree
The iconic tree at the end of the meadow, with an abandoned cement factory in the background, is perfect for taking cinematic photos.
