Wuhan is really great for photography! Every corner of this city hides surprises, and every snap feels like a masterpiece 📸 I've put together this super practical photo check-in guide; follow it and you'll definitely blow up your social media~
🌉 Must-visit landmark check-ins
1️⃣ Wuhan University Cherry Blossom Avenue
Address: 299 Bayi Road, Wuchang District
Best time to shoot: Mid to late March during cherry blossom season
During the day, it’s a romantic sea of pink flowers; at night, the cherry blossoms under the lights are even more magical! It’s recommended to wear light-colored dresses to match the cherry blossoms perfectly 🌸
2️⃣ Gude Temple
Address: 74 Huangpu Street, Jiang’an District
Opening hours: 8:00-16:00
A century-old temple with a mixed style! Standing in front of the Yuantong Treasure Hall feels like a European film scene, remember to shoot with symmetrical composition 🕌
3️⃣ Lihuangpi Road
Address: Lihuangpi Road, Jiang’an District
The whole street is lined with vintage red brick Western-style houses. Recommended spots are the zebra crossing corners and street coffee shops, with the softest light at 4 PM ☕️
🌇 Unique and stunning photo spots
4️⃣ Underneath Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge
Address: Yingwu Avenue, Hanyang District
Come shoot at dusk! The orange-red bridge against the blue hour sky with reflections on the river is stunning. Bring a wide-angle lens 🌉
5️⃣ Donghu Shan Art Museum
Address: 668 Lumo Road, Donghu Scenic Area, Hongshan District
Pure white geometric buildings, spiral staircases, and floor-to-ceiling windows are perfect framing elements. Closed on Mondays, so don’t go empty-handed!
