Xihui Park, located in the western suburbs of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, is a large comprehensive garden that integrates numerous cultural relics and comfortable leisure and entertainment.
Wuxi Huishan was formerly known as Huashan, Lishan, and Xizhao Mountain. It is said that a monk from the Western Regions named Huizhao once lived here, so it was called Huishan after the Tang Dynasty. Xishan is the eastern peak of Huishan, and it is said that tin mines were abundant here during the Zhou and Qin dynasties, hence the name. After the excavation of Ying Mountain Lake in 1958, Xishan and Huishan were connected and developed into Xihui Park.
Xihui Park is one of the fourteen core scenic spots of the first batch of national key scenic spots—Taihu Scenic Area. It is a national key park and a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
