Itinerary

🌄Day 1: Huangling Ancient Village - Autumn Sunshine Observation Deck - Tianjie
Morning: After arriving in Wuyuan, head straight to Huangling and take the cable car 🚠 up the mountain. As soon as you arrive, you can see the scattered Hui-style buildings in the ancient village. The white walls and black tiles are particularly eye-catching in the sun.
Noon: Taste local specialties in Tianjie, Qingming fruit, steamed cake, the taste is amazing 😋
Afternoon: Go to the Autumn Sun Observation Deck. Although February is not as colorful as the autumn sun, the panoramic view of the ancient village combined with the green mountains in the distance is peaceful and healing, and perfect for taking beautiful photos.

🌄Day2: Jiangling-Qingyuan Ancient Village
Morning: Go to Jiangling. Although there are no rape flowers on the terraced fields all over the mountains, you can see villagers working in the fields and experience the most simple rural life.
Noon: Find a farm stay in Qingyuan Ancient Village and try the tender red carp.
Afternoon: Stroll through Qingyuan Ancient Village. The ancient bridges, streams, and old trees are full of traces of time, making you feel like you have strayed into a paradise.

Food Recommendations

🍜Tofu paste: Cut the tofu into small cubes, add mushrooms, dried bamboo shoots and other ingredients, and cook it into a thick soup with a smooth texture and delicious taste.
🥟Qingming Fruit: The outer skin is made of mugwort juice and glutinous rice flour, and the fillings are sweet and salty. One bite will give you a full taste of spring.
🐟Steamed pork with rice flour: Wrap the pork belly with rice flour and steam it in a steamer. It is fat but not greasy. The rice flour absorbs the aroma of the meat and is very delicious.

Precautions

🚗Transportation: Self-driving is very convenient. If you take public transportation, you can first go to Wuyuan High-speed Railway Station, and then take a shuttle bus or taxi to the scenic spot.
🎫Tickets: Tickets for scenic spots such as Huangling and Jiangling can be booked online in advance to save some money💰
👗Outfit: It’s still a bit cold in Wuyuan in February, so remember to bring a thick coat. If you want to take photos, wear light-colored clothes for better photos.
