Wuzhen Water Town - A Historic Town in Hangzhou

Wuzhen is a famous ancient water town in Jiangsu Province, China. It retains a large number of traditional buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Visitors can stroll along the stone-paved streets, admire the ancient residences, and take wooden boat rides to experience the unique charm of the water town while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.

The Wuzhen scenic area is divided into four sections: east, south, west, and north. The south and north sections are mainly residential areas with fewer attractions, as most of the attractions are concentrated in the east and west sections. For a one-day trip, it is recommended to visit the east section first to experience the local culture, and then head to the west section to enjoy the night view. The east section closes at around 5:30 PM. However, don't go to the west section too late, as there are more attractions such as dyehouses and academies, and the area is larger. Make sure to allocate enough time!

🎫 Tickets: Both the east and west sections require tickets
