Stay at Andaz Xiamen and experience the early Nanyang style without going to Nanyang

The Andaz Xiamen Hotel was designed by the studio founded by the late design master Jaya Ibrahim. The concept is to present the essence of the world cultural heritage Gulangyu Island in the central city of Xiamen through the interpretation of the old and the new, and the collision of the East and the West.
One night's experience in a twin-bed room with a view, the hotel design and appearance are indeed worthy of the recommendation on social platforms. Rattan tables and chairs, retro colored bricks, Western-style corridor arches and tropical green plants, with a strong Nanyang style~
The hotel's transportation location is great, close to the shopping center Mixc Railway Station, Nanhu Park, Bailuzhou Park, etc.
The G floor is the arrival floor, which belongs to the public space. On the right hand side of the entrance is the popular corridor arch. Through the corridor on the left hand side, you can go directly to the Mixc Gate 2.
Going further in, the inner courtyard is an art installation inspired by "One Corner Plum".
The L floor is check-in. The lobby, lounge, restaurant, and outdoor heated swimming pool are on this floor. The swimming pool is much smaller than expected.
The furnishings in the room are quite simple, with many Nanyang elements such as woven background walls, wooden shutters, and retro vases. The space utilization rate is quite good. I especially like the design of the dressing table, which is opposite to the washbasin and separated on both sides.
The bed is too soft, I like a slightly harder bed~
The view of the guest room is very ordinary, surrounded by many dense residential buildings, and further away is the construction site that is still under construction.
